Special events are NOT the Turkey Dinner,
Regular Meetings of various clubs and Youth groups,
Or anything that has a it's own page on this website.

Special events include:
       Dances
       Community Talent Shows
       Performances
       International Night*
       Boy Scout Spaghetti Dinners & 4-H Pancake Breakfasts
       Clean-Up Days*
       Summer Picnic/Potluck BBQ
       Christmas Caroling


*International Night is what happens when we invite Hillsboro Exchange Students to come share their experiences with us. We provide decorations, a pot-luck supper, and an audience.
This is a special opportunity to expand our horizons, as well as send a little bit of "our" America home with them. Some of our speakers are local youths recently returned from their exchange experiences abroad.

*Clean-up Days are when we sort, scour, repair and toss at the Grange Hall. This is a casual event.
(Black-ties are NOT appropriate, but your tool box might be.)
This is usually a morning event -- 9 to 1, but we bring food to pot-luck anyway.
